Plant Inspection and Measurement Services in Line with IEC Standards

We can perform testing and verification activities in line with applicable standards, including IEC 62446 and IEC 60891. Depending on scope, activities may include IV curve measurements, thermographic inspections, EL testing, insulation checks, earthing measurements and performance assessment.

1) IV Curve Measurement (IEC 60891)

Technical outputs may include performance analysis and evaluation of impacts such as LID/PID, microcracks and degradation trends.

2) Hot-Spot Analysis with Drone and Handheld Thermography

Abnormal heating on modules, junction boxes and strings can be detected and reported with risk-based findings.

3) Electroluminescence (EL) Testing

Cell structure, microcracks and production/installation-related damage can be assessed visually.

4) Insulation (Hipot) Tests

Insulation resistance between PV components and earth is measured to evaluate safety and inverter continuity risks.

5) Earthing / Grounding Measurements

Equipotential bonding and grounding continuity can be verified, and results are reported for safety and system protection.

6) PVSyst Simulation Based on Real Data

Using irradiation and temperature data, simulations can be produced to compare expected vs. actual production and evaluate performance ratio.

Tests in line with IEC EN 62446 can be handled as Category 1 (mandatory) and Category 2 (optional), depending on scope.
